Clearly you haven't had to fight a bulked ninja who fogs you and then uses vortex. When you're trying to rank up as high as possible a random XP skill for your enemy is infuriating bullshit. You're a moron.

The chance of a tro having there cyc at the same time as the nin opp having vortex is slim..and if it does happen...well just avoid the nin and wait...is vortex is higher in defence but lower in attack than a tro on cyc.

You dont know who ive had to fight..im just not taking the arena as serious as u......u see,i dont care if i win or lose...i dont lose any exp or guild funds...its fun thats all...im not obsessed with the game and wanting to be number 1 at everything in the game like u seem to be.

The downside to disabling xp skills in the arena is that a section of the chars skills r being disabled,therefor not allowing the char to battle as it would outside of the arena.

You just prove your ignorance further with every post. My gear is listed in my sig. When I say they're bulked, do you think they simply choose to not upgrade their talis with those bulks? Funny that you know nothing about me yet you claim to know my intelligence AND skill based on me calling you a moron, which you quite clearly are.

Fighting within the arena is already not at all like fighting outside the arena. Movement is restricted to a confined space, and victory is possible by surviving for 5 minutes. There is no point in a ranking system when certain character types have VERY clear advantages. You simply fail to grasp that.

Also, I already made a post about overall fairness, and yes, you would have to disable talismans as well, but there's no point in even making that thread.

If you can pull off living for 5 minutes, you deserve the damned XP skill. Besides, people can use them before the match starts, too. Are XP skills overpowered? Not really, mostly anyway. The arena's the same size as the PKA, if I'm not mistaken. If you can dodge a Vortex in PKA, you can dodge it in the Arena. No reason to piss and moan about something stupid like this.

How about a fire tao that gets to use tornado nonstop against a ninja using katanas that doesn't zap or a ninja with blade/sword that doesn't zap and runs out of stamina? That's not exactly fair either. The trojan could use cyclone to dodge out the fly, its what, a 40 second fly and a 30 second cyclone? (I've never really leveled an archer, don't quote me on that.) They'll have at least 2 and a half minutes left to kill the archer. If they can't, they need to work on their aiming.

Yeah, fire taos XP skills are shit, but notice how OP they become when you add in fog, talis, and their ability to fight pretty much nonstop. Banning ALL skills because of ONE skill is ignorant, not wanting to keep the skills from being banned. You totally ignored that Vortex is relatively easy to dodge, even in such a small map. Fly, yeah, its an issue that should be dealt with. But on the whole, there's no reason to get rid of all the XP skills.
