Why are Ninjas much more awesome than Pirates?
It can be answered by a paradox:
A noisy Ninja is a dead Ninja, A noisy Pirate is a live one.
A silent Pirate is a dead Pirate, A silent Ninja is a live one.
Ninjas are awesome because we just do not know anything about them. To quote my Friend Winston Churchill loosely... A Ninja is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.
We can all just fantasize as to what a ninja is. Ninjas are considered sneaky, stealthy, silent, quick, and deadly. Ninjas can use any weapons, and I mean any weapons available. They may have specialize weapons like smoke bombs and shuriken and katanas but they can easily use a gun, a stone, their pinky finger and a toothpick to kill you. Hell, I bet Ninjas can kill you just by blowing wind into your face.
But Ninjas do not fight in the open. What I mean is that, unlike Knights that will challenge you to a fight, Ninjas will never do that. The mere fact that they are a Ninja, challenging you to a fight defeats their whole being as a ninja. Ninjas will just kill you if they can. No sound, just silent kill.
Pirate on the other hand are just that, Pirates. Noisy, smelly, brutish and just as deadly. But never as enigmatic as a Ninja. Pirates can also be sneaky but Ninjas are sneakier. We mostly consider Pirates as not a wholesome bunch. They talke loud, eats loudier, and farts loudiest! Pirates do not look good physically. Pirates are scary.
While Ninjas are considered to be a physical specimen of good health. Have you ever seen a Fat Ninja? I once did, The White Ninja- the deadly and all ready dead Chris Farley. But only in the movies. Was a very funny movie too. It was all about....
Now back to My answer to the question.
Ninjas like Pirates are feared. But Ninjas are never scary like Pirates. Scary Pirates, deadly Ninja.
Ninjas are feared and revered too. There is some semblance of respect to a Ninja. Pirates are feared only. No one ever likes a pirate but only a pirate can like a pirate because he or she is all ready a pirate.
So that is why Ninjas are more awesome than Pirates. Ninjas are mysterious, enigmatic, feared but revered and deadly to boot. Pirates are just hated by all. Ask the boats that ply the sea near Somalia. They do not like the Pirates there. Hell United Nations do not like Pirates. But a Ninja...the Ninja remains to be a mystery.
But not a mystery anymore. Conquer Online will bring out the Ninja. Weeeeeee......
